Angalo Yo Maya Ko set for 31 March premiere


GANGTOK: Sikkim’s first Nepali film to be shot in Silicon-2k HD, Kishor Dungmali Rai’s “Angalo Yo Maya Ko”, starring Prashant “Indian Idol” Tamang, is all set for its premiere at Vajra cinema hall here on 31 March.

The film also stars debutant actor, Mahendra Gurung, along with Bijayata Baraily and Harshika Shrestra, informs a press release. Popular comedian Mahendra Bagdas will also be seen in this movie.
Chief Minister Pawan Chamling is likely to be present as the chief guest for the film’s premiere, the release informs further.
The movie has been shot extensively around Sikkim and features performances by a number of local artists.
The film has been directed by Vinod Sereng and music composed by debutant music director from Sikkim, Issac Chettri. With the aim of promoting the state across the globe, film screenings abroad are also in the offing, starting with Israel (Tel Aviv) in May, the release further mentions.
