“Dr. Shova Kanti Thegim (Lepcha) Memorial Trust” initiates process for this year's award

GANGTOK, 16 Mar: A meeting of the “Dr. Shova Kanti Thegim (Lepcha) Memorial Trust” was convened on 11 March at the Trust’s office on PNG Road to discuss and initiate the process for this year’s award.
The meeting decided to consider only novels, stories/collection of short stories, poetry, criticism and plays in Nepali Language authored by all levels of writers from Sikkim (including permanent residents) and published during the period from 2007-09, informs a press release.

In order to give equal opportunity to all the participants, it was decided that even entries of single books will be accepted by the Trust for consideration of the award. Also the books available at the Trust and published in the eligible period will be considered automatically for the assessment.
The trust has requested all intending participants to send in 4 copies of their books on or before 10 April 2011, the release informs.
