GANGTOK: Henceforth, to hire a troupe from Cultural Affairs & Heritage Department to perform a 45-minute cultural show [in Gangtok] will cost Rs. 5,000. A gazette Notification [No. 07/CA&HD] pertaining to this was issued by the Department on 19 February. The notification was in partial modification of the Notification No. 76 dated 30.08.2001 of the Department.
The Notification further directs that for a show outside Gangtok [organizers will need provide meals, lodging and transportation for the team] will cost Rs. 5,000 per show.
It has been further notified that Yak and Singhi costumes will not be given out on hire.
The hiring rates of other accessories owned by the Department have been fixed as follows:
Mattresses- Rs. 40 each per day, Blanket- Rs. 20 each per day, Pillow with cover- Rs. 20 each per day, Bed Sheet- Rs. 20 each per day, Costumes- Rs. 30 per set per day, Ornaments- Rs. 100 per set per day and Instrument- Rs 50 per day.
