NAMCHI, 03 March: Secretary, Urban Development & Housing Department, Topzor D. Bhutia, accompanied by officials of the Department was on a daylong visit to the South district headquarter town and inspected the beautification works underway here at the Central Park.
The Secretary also inspected the repair works underway across the town and also checked on the leakage reported at the aquarium at the Central Park and the repairs of the street lamps.
The Secretary was accompanied by Divisional Engineer Rinzing Bhutia, AE and JE UD&HD and Junior Engineer Power Department Bikash Rai. The visit was welcomed by the residents here who have for long complained of the Department neglecting its responsibilities towards the town’s centrepiece, its Central Park.
