Dalapchand School felicitates choreographer


GANGTOK, 21 April: Sajan Basnet, a choreographer from Rongli who had helped the Upper Dalapchand Secondary School bag the third position in the interschool Folk Dance Competition at the recently concluded Lampokhari Tourist Festival at Aritar-Dalapchand was felicitated by Upper Dalapchand Secondary School staff on Wednesday.
At a small gathering in the school premises, Sajan Basnet was felicitated by the staff and feted with khadas and an appreciation certificate.

Speaking on the occasion Karma T Bhutia, a teacher at the school, said that the students had benefitted from dancing classes given by Mr Basnet. The school stood third amongst 11 participating schools from the area.
Head Master, ST Bhutia, thanked Mr Basnet and handed over the appreciation certificate to him. Mr Basnet also expressed his gratitude towards the school for giving him an opportunity to work with students. He specially thanked ST Bhutia, Shreya Pradhan, Madhu Regmi, Ambika Chettri for supporting him during the lessons.
