RHENOCK: The 7th Pratibha Manch was held at the Rhenock BAC multipurpose hall on 03 April, Sunday. A book of poems by Chandra Prakash Rizal ‘Yatre’, of Pakyong-Namcheybong, “Bibek ka Zilka Hary”, was released on the day, a press release informs.
PGT Nepali at Chujachen Senior Secondary School, Dilli Prasad Adhikari, presented an introduction to the poet at the meet.
The function was attended by writer UC Vasistha, novelist RK Pradhan, poet Bhanuraj Thapa ‘Nirogi’ Ganesh Kumar Pradhan of Ram Gauri Sangrahlaya, NYK national youth awardee Santosh Kumar Pradhan, ex-Principal JB Chettri, former Senior Post Master Sewa, ex-journalist cum PGT teacher Dependra Pradhan, Karate coach [Rongli] Kulhari Rai, Dr. Arjun Acharya, Bikash Bhujel along with teachers and students of different schools.
Budding writers Sunam Karki, Ranju Bhujel, Poonam Karki along with PL Pradhan Rajendra Karki, lecturer Shiva Kumar Nepal, Abi Misra, Ramesh Jaiswal, Dilli Prasad Adhikari, Amar Baniya ‘ Lohoro’, Bhusan Adhikari also present their latest works on the day.
The programme was conducted by Abi Misra with a welcome Address by writer Chandra Prasad Rizal ‘Yatre’ and vote of thanks by Ganesh Kumar Pradhan. President, Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh, Rhenock-branch, LM Poudyal, recipient of Bhanu Puraskar UC Vasistha and RK Pradhan, who also presented a cash award for Sunam Karki, also addressed the meet.
