School Annual Grants and Minor Repair Grants under RMSA released for North schools


MANGAN, 26 April: The School Annual Grants and Minor Repair Grants under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) for the financial year 2010-11 were released at a meeting held on Monday at the District Project Office, RMSA [North] here. The meeting was held in the presence of District Collector (N), TN Kazi and Deputy Director, HRDD/North, MK Gurung.
BRCC/ Mangan, Kalzang T Bhutia, welcomed the participants and made a presentation on the aims and objective of RMSA and highlighted the activities undertaken by the District Project Office so far. Mr Gurung urged all school heads to follow the guidelines prescribed for RMSA while implementing the activities sanctioned. He also requested them to maintain proper record of books of account pertaining to RMSA, MDM and SSA separately.

While Mr Kazi advised all school heads to work sincerely for the betterment of the children and schools. Further, he also advised them to utilize the funds properly and judiciously.
The meeting concluded with the distribution of grants amounting to Rs. 75,000 each to all secondary and senior secondary schools of North District in the presence of the District Collector, North.
The Principal of the Senior Secondary and the Head Masters of the Secondary schools, BRC Coordinators, CRC Coordinators and Account personnel/HRDD of the North District attended the meeting.
