NAMCHI, 06 Dec: All Sikkim Students Association’s South district branch organised a drug awareness programme here at the Indoor Stadium today. The programme started with a rally, joined by students from schools in and around Namchi, from the Community Hall through Central Park and back.
The day had Chief Medical Education Officer as chief guest and resource person along with teachers from participating schools. Although the main focus was on substance abuse, the association also took the opportunity to appeal to private coaching centres to extend some discounts to students.
