India Press handed over to State Govt


GANGTOK, 19 Jan [IPR]: The India Press, established in 1960, has been formally handed over to the State government. At a simple official function today, Director AK Sinha signed the documents transferring the India Press building along with 8 acre plot to the State Government.
The State government was represented by IPR Secretary, KS Tobgay. The transfer of land was free of cost. Officials of the Land Revenue and Buildings Deptt were also present on the occasion.
