3.5 magnitude tremor felt in West Sikkim


GANGTOK, 30 May: An earthquake of slight intensity measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale was felt this morning in West Sikkim.  According to the Director, Regional Meteorological Centre, G C Debnath, the epicenter was on the Sikkim-Nepal border with an intensity measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale. The tremor was recorded at 7:14 AM in West Sikkim according to Disaster Project Officer, West, LR&DM.
