CS heads committee to look into employee issues


GANGTOK, 28 Oct: The state government has constituted a committee headed by the Chief Secretary to look into various issues related to employees both regular and temporary under the state government. Representations made by various groups of employees organisations and individuals relating to service matters will also be taken up.
Cadre strength of all services and particularly where review is necessary will be examined; the government has also thought it fit to examine the matter of regularisation of muster roll, work charged and other temporary employees in the various departments for which the committee is required to put up recommendations. The committee has till 25 December to put up its report in the various matters charged with it.
Besides the Chief Secretary other members include the DGP, Development Commissioner and Secretaries, Finance and Department of Personnel.
