Still Waters invited for gigs abroad


GANGTOK, 14 Jan: The rock band, Still Waters, has been invited to play in Macau, Malaysia and Singapore in major concerts.
A press release informs that the band recently finished their month-long headlining tour which got underway on 03 December 2012 with Moksh, Kathmandu, IIAM, Kolkata, Attic, Kathmandu, Sisha, Kathmandu, India Club, Guwahati and ended on 06 of January 2013 with the Tea and Tourism Fest, Darjeeling. At the moment, the band is looking for sponsors for their tour of Macau, Malaysia and Singapore.
Formed in 2001, Still Waters is the only band from North Eastern States to have featured twice in the Great Indian Rock and also nominated among the list of best Indian bands after having played their brand of so called "Feel-good High-Energy Riff Rock".
After a series of line - up changes over the years, the band now has Abhishek Lemo Gurung (Vocalist), Sonam Lachungpa (Lead guitar), Lokes Loko Mangar (Bass), Samir Gurung (Rhythm Guitar) and Ronald Pradhan (Drums). The band is also currently working on their 3rd full-length album which is scheduled to be released this year, the release adds.

  1. PLS GET THEM A GOOD SPONSORS,THEY ARE A ONLY GOOD BANDS IN SIKKIM TALENT WISE,PERFORMANCE WISE AND THEY DID A GR8 JOB BY KICKING OUT THE PREVIOUS VOCALIST,HE WAS JUST PLAIN AND HIS SINGING GOT NO FEELINGS AND ALL.
