DenzoBoi releases debut album

GANGTOK, 21 Oct: Karma Namgyal Denzongpa released his debut music album, “Rise Up”, a collection of five rap and hip-hop songs here on 19 October. Namgyal, who goes by nickname “Namden aka DenzoBoi”, is hopeful that his debut offering finds favour in the Rap and Hip-hop circuit here. The album was released at Lounge 31A Studio at Deorali here on Saturday evening and included a performance by the new star.
Hailing from Phodong in North Sikkim, Namgyal had his early schooling at Kyi-de-Khang Secondary School and completed his BA LLB this March. He recorded the album at Psalms Studio, Tadong, Gangtok.
Clearly passionate about his music, Namgyal, upon completing his law course, resolved to do something substantial in music. “I thought it would be a waste of time sitting idle and it was then that the idea for the album came to my mind,” he says, adding, “Singing was my dream and I finally chose Rap”.
He now plans to go for higher studies next year.
Meanwhile, he has appealed all to ‘like’ his facebook page - namden a.k.a Denzoboi where the official music video for his first song “sweetmama” will be releasing soon.
