“Thank you, CM Sir!”

GANGTOK, 01 Oct: “Thank You to the CM Sir from the bottom of my heart” is what every student who received a free laptop from the Chief Minister today had to say.
“I feel very lucky and I am very excited on getting this laptop. Being an IT student this laptop will be very helpful for us”, said a class XII, IT student of Khamdong Senior Secondary School, Prahalad Subedi.
Around 200 students from his school which falls in rural Sikkim received laptops today. Prahalad expressed his gratitude on behalf of all the students to the state government and to the CM.
A class XII Science student of Khamdong SSS, Bhawana Lamichaney expressed gratitude to the CM for the laptops especially for students from rural areas whose families cannot afford to buy such an expensive gadget.  “This laptop will help me a lot in my studies and especially in doing projects as there is no cyber café where I live”, she said.
“It will help me a great deal in my studies and I am going to make the best use of this laptop to excel in my studies,” said another class XII IT student from Samdong SSS, Arun Kumar Chettri.
A Sikkim Government Law College final year student, Archana Sharma expressed her deep happiness and gratitude to the CM. “This is definitely a good thing especially for those students who cannot afford a laptop even if they need it badly”, she expressed.
“It is difficult for a student from a poor family to even think about a laptop. This is a happy moment for students from rural areas”, said a class XI Arts student of Machong SSS, Bishal Rai who also conveyed gratitude to the CM on behalf of the students.
West Point SSS’s class XII Hotel Management student, Prava Chettri said, “Now I can work on projects and assignments sitting at home and will not have to go to a computer center or cyber café. Thank you Sir for providing us with these laptops to help in our studies!”
