SKM’s parivartan rally rolls out

GANGTOK, 27 Jan: Sikkim Krantikari Morcha [SKM] party has kicked off its ‘parivartan rally’ from the party headquarters at Gangtok on Republic Day. The party’s senior vice president Phuchung Bhutia flagged-off the rally.
An SKM release informs that the rally will cover all villages, towns and districts of the state spreading the message of ‘parivartan’. The rally reached North Sikkim today where the public gave a warm welcome.
The parivartan rally which initially began with 20 bikes and 100 cars on Sunday has crossed more than 200 vehicles, the release contends.
The rally will continue for six days before the SKM party kicks off its election campaign from 04 February, next month.
The rally, led by party secretary general, MK Subba, started from Tadong Convoy ground covering Ranipool, Pakyong, Rorathang, Rongli, Rangpo, Duga and Singtam and back to Gangtok.
The rally will cover North Sikkim and come back to Dikchu and enter Yangang constituency of South Sikkim covering Rabong, Temi-Tarku, Namthang and will rest at Sadam, the release informs.
