Sikkim loses a thorough gentleman and able administrator

GANGTOK, 16 Feb [IPR]: Chief Minister Pawan Chamling and Mrs. Tika Maya Chamling have expressed their profound grief, sorrow and deep anguish over the sudden demise of KS Tobgay, Secretary, Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department, who passed away on 14 Feb, Friday.
In his message, the Chief Minister remembers the late Mr. Tobgay as “a man with amicable disposition, known as a calm, soft spoken, hard working and upright person with impeccable integrity”.
“During his tenure as head of the Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department he showed his ability as a capable administrator and a good human being,” he states.
The Chief Minister in his message remembered the late Mr. Tobgay as a well natured and a thorough gentleman, and an experienced bureaucrat of the state administration who was well versed in administrative matters of the state. “His loss has created a great void to the state,” the CM states.
In his condolence message to the family members, the Chief Minister has wished for strength and courage to his family members to bear this irreparable loss in their hour of sorrow and grief.
