SKM supporters accused of vandalism and robbery

GANGTOK, 06 Feb: A case has been registered against supposed SKM party supporters at the Singtam Thana on charges of vandalizing a vehicle and for robbery. As per the complainant, Bishwas Thapa of Raley, East Sikkim his vehicle was damaged and car stereo along with Rs. 3,000 in cash was taken by SKM supporters at Raley on 04 February.
The incident is reported to have occurred when the complainant along with others was attending a Saraswati puja celebration in the neighbourhood. The SKM supporters allegedly arrived in 4 vehicles and even threatened him and others. The Singtam police have registered a case and while efforts are on no arrests have been made so far.
