General observer, Monitoring and Expenditure observer meet political parties of North

MANGAN, 31 Mar: Central General Observer, Tshering Angchok, and Central Monitoring and Expenditure Observer, RK Singh, convened a meeting with representatives of all political parties of North district on Sunday.
At the outset, Mr. Singh, in his power-point presentation, highlighted the main tasks and responsibilities of all committees designated to oversee election monitoring and conduction and advised them that static surveillance and flying squad should work in coordination in the field. He informed the house that cross examination of the expenditure incurred by the candidates from the date of nomination and expenditure maintained by accounting team of the control room would be done on 02, 06 and 10 April.
Later, Mr. Singh had a meeting with all political party representatives and asked them to produce all three registers i.e. day-to-day register, Cash Register and Bank Register before the concerned officials.
Earlier, Returning officer-cum-DC North, TN Kazi gave the welcome address and ARO-Cum-ADC/North, RK Yadav gave a comprehensive power point presentation on election related matters to all the representatives of political parties and detailed report on voter populace of North Sikkim constituency-wise and the number of polling stations setup sector-wise.
During the interaction the central Observer Mr. Angchok said that in order to make the election free and fair all officials appointed in the election duty must perform their duty with full dedication and devotion.
