Kaw records highest voter turnout of 90.46% in South

NAMCHI, 14 Apr [IPR]: Voting went off peacefully in South district as well where the polling station at Kaw Government Primary School under Tumin Lingee constituency recorded the highest voter turnout of 90.46%. 

The lowest turnout of voters was recorded at Namchi Government Senior Secondary School Room No 3 at 67%.  The total number of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) polled in the South Sikkim was 323, 154 Assembly Constituency, 154 Parliamentary Constituency and 15 for Sangha in all 154 Polling Stations of the district.
