Signature campaign to promote voter awareness in North Sikkim

MANGAN, 07 Apr: As part of Systematic Voting Electoral Education Programme (SVEEP), the North District Election Cell is organizing a three-day signature campaign cum awareness programme through mobile vans at different polling booths of the district.
During the said campaign, all polling stations of Kabi-Lungtsok will be covered on 09 April, while Dzongu and Lachen-Mangan constituencies will be covered on 10 and 11 April respectively.
The Nodal Officer (SVEEP) cum ARO, Raj Kumar Yadav has appealed to the people of North Sikkim to come forward to cast their vote on 12 April from 7 am to 5 pm to make the general election 2014 a success. Further, people were also requested to participate in the signature campaign carried out by teams in mobile vans.

Likewise, the Postal Ballot facilitation centre has also been opened at the District control room where officials who have been posted to election duty are requested to collect their ballot paper and submit it till 12 April.
