GANGTOK,
14 May: ‘Action Research in Education’, a book written by Manorath Dahal
[Assistant Professor, Government B.Ed College, Soreng] was released at a
special function held at Barad Sadan, Sikkim University on Tuesday.
Principal,
Harkamaya College of Education, Prof. Premlata Mohapatra, was the chief guest of
the programme. In her address, she expressed her views on developing research
temperament in teachers especially in Sikkim.
Former
Director HRDD, Pempa Tamang who was present as a special guest pointed out that
the book was useful and meaningful for the teaching fraternity. Officers of different
Departments, literary figures, faculty of Education and Geography Departments
of Sikkim University, former officers, teachers and M.A. Education students and
faculty from B.Ed College Soreng attended the book release.
