All arrangements in place for peaceful counting day, Sikkim Police reassures

GANGTOK, 12 May: The District administrations have made adequate arrangements for peaceful conduct of counting scheduled for 16 May, 2014 and to prevent any subsequent law and order situation.
The DIG-Range, Sikkim Police, informs through a press release that appropriate traffic arrangements have been made and parking space has been demarcated for the workers of various political parties at the counting centres.
All concerned police officers have been sensitized to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the movement of members of the general public and special care is taken for senior citizens, women and children.
People can contact the concerned District Police Officers in case of any problems, the release adds.
