Election process officially over, Model code of conduct lifted

GANGTOK, 19 May [IPR]: The election process in Sikkim has officially come to an end with the submission of the “Due Constitution of the House” Notification of the Election Commission of India to the Governor of Sikkim.
Officers of Election Commission of India, Anuj Jaipuriar and Anand Kumar Pathak accompanied by the Chief Election Officer, Sikkim, D Anandan submitted the Due Constitution Notification of Election Commission of India for the state of Sikkim to the Governor of Sikkim, Shriniwas Patil at Raj Bhawan this evening.

The list of the elected members of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly 2014 has also been included in the Notification. With the issue of this notification the election process in Sikkim has come to an end and the model code of conduct has also been lifted.
