NAMCHI, 01 June: ‘World No Tobacco Day’ was observed by
Kamarey Junior High School (JHS) South Sikkim on 31 May. To mark the day a
rally was conducted followed by various competitions and events which were held
for students like essay writing, slogan composition and other events.
The winners of the various events were awarded with prizes.
During the programme, students were made aware of the importance of the day and
the reason behind observing the day was also explained to the students. All the
teachers of the school along with other staffs actively participated in the
programme to make it a successful one.
