Sangha MLA calls on MoS for Home; Welcomes enthronement of Penor Rinpoche’s reincarnation

GANGTOK, 04 Aug: A delegation led by the Sangha MLA, Sonam Lama, called upon Union Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju, and MHA officials in New Delhi today. He placed several memorandums during the meetings and received positive assurances on the demands so placed, a press release informs.
A pres communiqué received from the MLA’s office further conveys his jubilation and greetings on the enthronement of Pema Dorje of Dhagpo (Tibet) as the ‘Yangsi’ of His Holiness the late Pema Norbu Rinpoche (Penor Rinpoche) and as the 12th lineage holder of the Palyul tradition. “I express my humble greetings to all the monks and people of Sikkim,” the Sangha MLA conveys, highlighting that the passing away of the Penor Rinpoche in 2009 had left a huge vacuum, five years after which, has come the moment to ne joyous in his reincarnation having been enthroned.
“The fortune followers of the dharma in this degenerated era are highly indebted to our Supreme Protector HH Kyabgoen Chadral Sangay Dorje Rinpoche for his unparallel wisdom, enlightenment and prophesy in ensuring early and smooth arrival of the precious ‘Yangsi Rinpoche’.  I further submit my eons of positive virtue accumulated, if any, towards the benefit and long life of HH Kyabgoen Chadral Sangay Dorje Rinpoche, HH Kyabje Dodrubchen Rinpoche and Kyabje Lhatrul Domang Terchen Rinpoche of Sikkim,” the release concludes.
