Sakya Trizin to deliver “precious Dharma advice”

Tibetology to also host seminar on different aspects of Buddhism

The Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (NIT), in keeping with its objective to propagate Buddhism, has announced a smart roster of events for the upcoming week, starting with a talk by Sakya Trizin Rinpoche.
An official press release informs that on 15 October, 2015, NIT is organising a talk on “Precious Dharma Advice” by Sakya Trizin Rinpoche at Chintan Bhavan in Gangtok. The programme will begin at 2.30 P.M.  an is open to all.
On October 16 and 17, in conjunction with the Dolma Phodrang Foundation, NIT will be organising and hosting a two-day seminar on “Different Aspects of Buddhism”. The seminar will be hosted at the NIT campus itself.
Eminent speakers are slated to talk about relevant aspects of Buddhism such as Buddhism and Youth in the 21st Century, Mind Training as a Solution to Personal Sufferings, Different Sects/Schools-One Path in Buddhism, and Buddhism & Environment. The talks have been kept short (20 minutes each) so that people can interact more extensively with the speakers during the Question-and-Answers and Open Discussion sessions. Also, one paper will be presented in Nepali, it is informed.
The seminar timings are 9.30 A.M. to 4 P.M. and is open to all.
